I. principle and characteristics of transient electromagnetic method

transient electromagnetic method is a method based on electrical differences, which uses ungrounded loop or grounding wire source to send a pulse electric field to the underground, and uses coil or grounding electrode to observe the secondary eddy current field or electric field. Like other electromagnetic methods, transient electromagnetic method detects the distribution of underground resistivity. Its purpose is to find abnormal distribution in the background resistivity distribution. It is mainly used to find low resistance targets and study the geoelectric structure from shallow layer to middle deep layer. Therefore, in the actual detection, the detection range is generally larger than the target area. It can be used in mines, bridges, buildings, highways, railways, water conservancy, tunnels and other related work. Always check whether all moving parts of the output device of the instrument operate normally. The fixed rod should be smeared with butter every three months
