Corrugated board bursting resistance determination method
2. Reference standard
the provisions contained in the following standards constitute the provisions of this standard through reference in this standard. When this standard is published, the editions shown are valid. All standards will be revised. 1. Jinan assay drop tester is a mechanical equipment with impact force. All parties using this standard should explore the possibility of using the latest version of the following standards
gb 45089 paper and paperboard samples are collected to form an oil film in the annular gap of the curved surface moving with each other. Take GB 1073989 standard atmosphere for the treatment and testing of pulp, paper and paperboard samples
3. Definitions
this standard adopts the following definitions
bursting strength
under the test conditions, the corrugated board can bear the uniformly increased maximum pressure perpendicular to the surface of the sample on the unit area
4. Test principle
place the specimen on the adhesive film, clamp it with the specimen clamp, and then apply pressure evenly to make the specimen bulge freely with the adhesive film until the specimen is broken. The bursting resistance of the specimen is the maximum value of the applied hydraulic pressure
5. Test instrument
5.1 sample chuck system
the diameter of the upper chuck is (31.5 0.5) mm, and the diameter of the lower chuck hole is (31.5 0.5) mm. The upper and lower clamping rings shall be concentric, and the maximum error shall not be greater than 0.25mm. The two clamping rings are parallel to each other and flat. The force on the contact surface is uniform during measurement
in order to prevent the sample from sliding during measurement, the sample chuck should have a clamping force of not less than 690kpa. However, such pressure will generally cause the corrugated collapse of the sample, which should be noted in the report
5.2 adhesive film
the adhesive film is circular and consists of elastic materials. The adhesive film is firmly clamped, and its upper surface is about 5.5mm lower than the top surface of the lower clamping ring. The rubber film material and structure shall make the height of the rubber film protruding from the lower chuck adapt to the elastic resistance, that is, when the protruding height is 10mm, the resistance range is (170 ~ 220) kPa; When the projection is 18mm, the resistance range is (250 ~ 350) kPa
6. Sample taking and treatment
6.1 the sample shall be taken according to the provisions of GB 450
6.2 the sample shall be treated with warm and wet treatment according to the provisions of GB 10739
7. Preparation of samples
the sample area must be larger than the chuck of the bursting tester, and the sample must not have watermarks, creases or obvious damage. Samples that have been pressed by the chuck shall not be used in the test
8. Test steps
conduct sample cutting and test under the atmospheric conditions specified in article 6.2
open the chuck of the sample, clamp the sample in the middle of the two sample chucks, then start the tester, and gradually increase the pressure at the speed of (170 15) ml/min. When the sample explodes, read the value indicated on the pressure gauge. Then release the chuck and return the reading pointer to the start position. When the sample has obvious sliding, the data shall be discarded
9. Result expression
measure with 10 samples attached to the adhesive film on the front and back, and express with the arithmetic mean value (kPa) of all measured values
10. Test report
the test report includes the following contents:
a) the number of this national standard
b) vigorously develop the types and specifications of samples such as high-performance carbon fibers and composites, superalloys, new military materials, third-generation semiconductor materials, new display technologies, special alloys and new rare earth materials
c) standards used in the test
d) atmospheric conditions of the test site
e) the name and model of the tester used, and the clamping force used
f) the average value of the bursting resistance of the front and back sides of the paperboard, with three significant figures retained
g) test date, place, test personnel, etc
